Together With Cebu: KRBC partners with Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines Inc.

Published:

Last October 7, 2025, Kato Repro Biotech Center, in collaboration with Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc., launched a donation drive to help the people of Cebu and support the rebuilding of communities affected by the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck the city on the evening of September 30.

The powerful quake hit Bogo City, Cebu, recording the highest instrumental intensity of VII. Authorities have reported damage across 89 cities and municipalities, affecting more than 360,000 individuals.

Thousands were forced into evacuation centers, with residents urgently calling for food, water, and shelter. Fifty-three localities in Cebu have since been placed under a state of calamity. Within a week after the earthquake, over 8,000 aftershocks were recorded by PHIVOLCS, 34 of which were strong enough to be felt.

This devastation in Cebu serves as a reminder that care knows no boundaries — within or beyond the clinic walls.

To contribute to ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts, Kato Repro Biotech Center partnered with Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc. in a shared mission of hope. Through Operation Blessing’s official QR codes and bank details, Kato patients and supporters were encouraged to extend help in any amount they could give. KRBC published the donation drive on its official Facebook and Instagram pages, providing various options for those who wish to donate through Operation Blessing’s channels.

All funds gathered from the campaign were directly allocated to aid and restoration efforts in the affected communities of Cebu. Through this support, medical care was provided to 426 individuals, 850 food packs and 200 jerry cans of clean water were distributed, and access to safe drinking water in Brgy. Maya, Daanbantayan was successfully restored.

In total, over 1,050 families received vital, life-saving assistance during this time of great need.

This initiative reflects Kato Repro Biotech Center’s commitment to care — for our patients, our communities, and our nation. It is our hope that this effort inspires more acts of compassion and unity within and beyond our community.

October 2025: One Kato, One Vision, One Journey of Hope

Published:

Last October 25, 2025, marked a significant day for all three branches of the Kato Medical Group Philippines (KMGP) as Kato Repro Biotech Center (Makati), Kato Fertility Center- Quezon City, and Kato Fertility Center- Alabang simultaneously held their Fertility Symposiums.

These events brought together aspiring parents, medical professionals, and fertility advocates in a shared space of learning, compassion, and hope. Each branch featured discussions led by our dedicated doctors and specialists who shared valuable insights on fertility care, IVF, reproductive health, and the latest innovations that continue to redefine the path to parenthood.

The occasion was especially meaningful for Kato Fertility Center – Alabang as it proudly hosted its first-ever symposium, a momentous step that signifies our continuous mission to reach and support more aspiring parents in the South.

At the Kato Medical Group Philippines, we believe that fertility awareness begins with empathy, education, and empowerment. Through events like these, we hope to provide more individuals and couples with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their fertility journey.

Together, as one Kato community, we look forward to fostering more opportunities for connection, understanding, and hope, helping every patient move closer to the future they can conceive.
